If I could google every quality and characteristic of my dream photographer, Lauren Novak would pop up!! Lauren is truly the best of the best. She shot our engagement pictures & wedding day! She was always willing to hop on a call during planning to ease any of my worries. Lauren makes you feel incredibly comfortable during shoots with all the right poses and ability to see “The Shot”. She is so kind and has such a calm presence, but she is a true professional, turning on the serious business woman when she needs to to reel in unfocused groomsmen & family when it’s go time. I was so confident on wedding day knowing we were in good hands. And our photos themselves.. oh my goodness, I thought our engagement picture were good.. our wedding pictures absolutely stunned us with how incredibly she captured our love and our day. CAN I HAVE THE RAW IMAGES?
I totally get the curiosity! But I don’t deliver raw images. Part of the experience you’re investing in is my editing style and the final polished look of your photos. The raws are like unfinished artwork—my job is to bring them to life for you! You’ll receive all the best, fully edited images that tell the full story beautifully.
HOW DO I PAY?
I make it super easy! Payments are made online through a secure link I’ll send your way. You can pay with a debit or credit card—whatever’s easiest for you. A 30% non-refundable retainer is due at booking to reserve your date, and the remaining balance is due the day of your session or 1 month before the wedding.
WHERE DO I PRINT MY PHOTOS?
You can order high-quality prints directly through your online gallery—super easy and professional-grade. If you prefer to print elsewhere, I recommend using a trusted lab like Miller's Lab or Bay Photo Lab to ensure your photos look their best. I’m always happy to guide you if you need help choosing!
WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE OR IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
If the weather isn’t cooperating (especially for outdoor sessions), I always check the forecast and will contact you ahead of time if we need to adjust start time or reschedule.
HOW DO I PICK OUT LOCATIONS?
I will send my location and a session guide, which includes many spots to choose from along with tips for preparing for your session. Some locations have a travel fee due to the distance, which can be paid via Venmo or added to the invoice. If you have a location in mind, I'm open to it!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY GALLERY
2-3 weeks for engagement sessions
8 weeks for elopements + weddings
