From a young age, I knew photography would be a huge part of my life. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something I couldn’t imagine living without. I decided to take that passion seriously—studying business management in college and working at a local photography studio to grow my skills and experience.
These days, my two kitties and I reside in Kansas City, but my heart is always chasing new places. I’ve had the joy of traveling all over the country, capturing love stories through weddings and elopements—and there’s nothing I love more than telling stories that feel honest, intimate, and full of emotion

If I could google every quality and characteristic of my dream photographer, Lauren Novak would pop up!! Lauren is truly the best of the best. She shot our engagement pictures & wedding day! She was always willing to hop on a call during planning to ease any of my worries. Lauren makes you feel incredibly comfortable during shoots with all the right poses and ability to see “The Shot”. She is so kind and has such a calm presence, but she is a true professional, turning on the serious business woman when she needs to to reel in unfocused groomsmen & family when it’s go time. I was so confident on wedding day knowing we were in good hands. And our photos themselves.. oh my goodness, I thought our engagement picture were good.. our wedding pictures absolutely stunned us with how incredibly she captured our love and our day.
